Utter glee.

That was on my face when I saw the new Coraline dolls.Needless to say, I purchased one.Pure win. :D Well, tommorrow is Valentine's. Hopefully all goes well.

It's raining, it's pouring.

I woke up at 5:30 today. My aunt woke me up because she made alot of noise.I usually wake up at 6 anyway, so it doesnt irk me much.I started writing my Valentine's poem for Sarah yesterday, and it's not gonna be easy. She had me use all the material I had on another poem she wanted, "just cause". So I've got to have it done by tomorrow. I've been questioning my life lately. I've lost touch with the few friends I had, drifted out of the music scene, and stopped writing as much as I used to. I think it might be because of my relationship with Sarah. Im happy with her, but in all other areas of my life Im not. Have I become lazy?To comfortable?I think I've lost any personal intrigue. Did my sadness make me who I was? I did use to always say the pain made me a better writer. Because experience makes for better writing. And people love to read about other's pains or hadships, not their happiness. At least not until the end of the book. I guess life is like a book, and we all want that happy ending.

So a re-cap of the last few days....

I saw Coraline opening day.It was A-MAZING!!!!I liked that the movie had alot of subtext. But that is Neil Gaiman's writing style, so I shouldnt be surprised.I saw it twice, had to see it again monday. My favorite character was definitely Coraline. She's just a real cool character.I think if i I ever had a daughter, I'd name her Coraline.I envy those lucky bloggers that got props from the film =/.....AH!!!I wish I didnt start blogging so late.Well anyways, speaking of Neil I picked up his Batman story yesterday, "Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader?".I found it awesome so far, and can't wait till he second part comes out next month. Im reserving judgement till next issue, but this looks like it's shaping to be one of the best Batman stories ever told. It starts out with everyone from Batman's 70 years in history attending his wake. And then Dick Grayson asks if anyone has anything to say. Which Selina Kyle, A.K.A. Catwoman does. In her story, she tries to get Batman to live a normal life with her, but Bruce is dedicated to fighting crime, so it ends up with her letting Batman die. Next is Alfred.in Alfred's story, he became the Joker and hired actors to be villains to give Bruce something to vent on. What Gaiman is trying to say is that both us these people loved him and wanted to give him a normal life but they failed.Im looking forward to who gives stories in part 2. On another note, I've really got to start writing some good stuff. But it's hard when you live with like 15 other people in the same house.I dont exactly get a peace of mind. Or inspiration.
